Sheryl A. Edwards
Sheryl A. Edwards, Esquire, is a board certified real estate attorney and a member of the Florida Bar and the New York Bar. Mrs. Edwards earned her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law with honors after graduating from the University of South Florida with a degree in Accounting. While at Stetson, Mrs. Edwards was the Research Editor of the Stetson Law Review. She is admitted to the Florida Bar, the New York Bar, the Middle District of Florida and the Eleventh Federal Circuit Court and is a current member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust section of the Florida Bar, the Sarasota County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the John M. Scheb Inn of Court. She is a former Chairperson of the Attorney/Realtor Committee of the Sarasota County Bar Association and Sarasota Association of Realtors, the former Chairperson of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee and a former board member of the Sarasota Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Mrs. Edwards was recognized by the Gulf Coast Business Review as one of Sarasota County's top 40 business executives under 40 years old. Mrs. Edwards focuses her practice in the areas of Real Estate Litigation, Mobile Home Park Law, Foreclosure Defense, and Real Estate Transactions. Mrs. Edwards also serves as Legal Counsel to the Sarasota County Value Adjustment Board.
